GIVE SPACE Taekwondo Students Win Medals at the 4th Inter Invitation Taekwondo Championship 2025

Another proud milestone for GIVE SPACE students: our Taekwondo students got the chance to put the skills they've trained into a real competitive arena at the "4th Inter Invitation Taekwondo Championship 2025," held on August 30, 2025 at Lasalle's Avenue shopping center.

The competition included Speed Kick, Speed Punch, KYUKPA (Breaking), and Poomsae categories, and GIVE SPACE's kids brought home medals across several of them.

But for us, the proudest part wasn't just the medals. A child finding the courage to step out of the classroom, stand on a competition floor, and perform what they've practiced in front of others is an experience in itself — one that shows them just how far their own dedication and practice can take them.

Medals are the outcome, but what happens along the way matters just as much. Before stepping onto the competition floor, these kids went through training, repeated practice of the same techniques, taking in feedback, and working to improve things they hadn't yet mastered.

Competition, then, is more than just a place to measure who got which medal — it's a chance for kids to apply their skills in a real situation, and to experience excitement, pressure, achievement, and learning from the outcome, whatever it turns out to be.

Another important part of this competition was the support from parents — whether it was bringing their child to class, encouraging them to practice, or standing beside them on competition day. Every bit of that support helped these kids find the courage to take on something more challenging.
